Birkin

Birkin was born in 1984, named after the British actress Jane Birkin, a long-time resident of France. Birkin and Hermès CEO Jean-Louis Dumas met on a plane by all luck. Jane Birkin had complained that she couldn't find a bag big enough to carry her daughter's milk bottle, so Dumas designed this casual bag that would meet her needs.
