Hermes Constance bag

The Hermes Constance bag is one of the most trendiest bags of Herme right now. For a long time forgotten since one year it seems to be the It bag of the brand... but do you know it history?

This bag was created in 1969 by Catherine Chaillet who named the bag after her daughter ( as you have realised many Hermes bags have female names...)

The key point of this bag is that is one of the vintage models from Hermes that was originally a shoulder bag ( we have to remebber that the Kelly was not  automatically sold together with its with the strap till the end of the 90's), 

However the vintage models from the Hermes Constance cannot be crossbody and they can only be worn as shoulder bags.
